Famous Quote Friday

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
Dr. Seuss

Always being yourself is so important. The more you try to be someone you are not the more you have to continue being someone you are not. Sure change in our lives or in ourselves is good but it should be something that happens naturally. All throughout my life I can feel myself evolve. I feel myself changing, and for the better too. The only thing that has not changed and will never is my heart. I will always be caring, I will always be helping others, and I will always be trying my best in everything I do. Being positive, and helping others at all times is etched in my brain and even if that were to change today those who  do matter most in my life will never mind. The friend base I have build has been phenomenal. The support I have with my family is so amazing. My new job has shown me the most positive environment I have ever seen. There is always someone around when I need to share a new Idea, or when I just need to vent. As busy as I am with work at the moment, I do not see much of my friends and family, but they all understand and support what I am reaching for in life.

Bonus Quote:

“My heart is still with everyone I love and support, but my body is climbing higher than it has ever been.”

I am going to be a positive motivational speaker, and those that know me best know that I will never give up and I will get there. The support I have with family, friends, coworkers and networking is the biggest safety net I have ever seen. The more people I add to it the less likely any of them are going to let me fall too far. I only hope every person I know, knows I would do the same for them. Helping others has been a staple in my whole life, and over time my attitude for helping others keeps maturing. Above all else I am who I am because it is who I want to be, ORIGINAL!

Famous Quote Friday

There are hundreds of languages in the world, but a smile speaks all.
Author Unknown

No matter who you are, where you are from or what language you speak, a smile is going to mean the same thing. A smiles shows many positive things; happiness, agreeableness, friendship, love, good looks, and many other things. No matter who you are, with a smile on your face you automatically make yourself a more approachable awesome person. How inclined are you to walk up to someone that is frowning or looks pissed? But you see someone with a smile, you know they are a positive person, you know that they would be willing to talk to you or help you. In turn with a smile on your face you can do the same for others. You make yourself more approachable. You make eye contact with someone and smile they are literally going to smile back, pretty much 99% of the time. I would like to say %100 but there are just some people out there that enjoy being grumpy! A smile goes a long way with everyone because it is a universal positive symbol to stretch the corners of your mouth upward and form a smile for happiness. To me personally, on any person the most attractive feature is their smile. It is the introduction into who they are, the bigger the smile the better the person in my opinion. The shyest of people may not smile the most often but they are the ones that smile the biggest. It takes one to know one, I used to be very shy, but I have come a long way. If  it would not make some people uncomfortable I would complement each beautiful smile I see. Smiles keep me going throughout the day, and the best part for me is getting to see so many of the same awesome smiles each day (part of the reason I love my job so much). I smile all the time in hopes to make a differance in other peoples day as well. The easiest way to help people is get them to smile. Smiling is contagious. See how many people you can get to smile back at you when you smile at them? I guarantee you will make at least one persons day today if not many others just by smiling! SMILE ALL THE TIME PEOPLE, it is a beautiful thing!

Thank you everyone have a great weekend here is a past post about smiles https://upwithmarc.com/2012/10/25/smile/

UP Momentum

It is one thing to be positive and another to stay positive. A positive attitude is going to get you were you want to be in life. The more negative hiccups you let bother you the slower it will take to get there.

April 4th 2012: (just something I wrote, here is the whole time line if you want to look)

“Some days you will wake up and realize the world around you is different. Mother Nature has changed, society has changed, your family has changed, your friends have changed, and YOU have changed. What once was, is now different. What once was may have never been what you really thought it was, and now it is different. Walk forward in your days, not backwards. Embrace what you have learned, embrace what makes you happy. Walk past those that have no positive impact on your life, and forgive those that are not worthy. Never forget what made you the way you are today. Never forget the memories that lighten up your life but always move forward. Stay positive and watch all the negativity disappear.”

About a year ago I thought things were perfect, I was ready to settle down, life was so good. But then I realized the 4 years I spent being my best with someone, was hardly worth the flush of a toilet to them. Dropped like I had no quality worth fighting for. I did not just fall down the escalator of life’s progression I was thrown right over the side. I hit bottom hard. It was a place I had forgotten about, a place where I did not want to be a part of my world anymore. That scared the crap out of me, but I simply said “NO”. It was time to put every muscle in my body in a new direction, a positive one. I got my butt back up found a new path and I am climbing again. Climbing higher  and faster than ever. I owe it all to positive momentum. I have the biggest forward momentum of my entire life. When you get that taste of success in any part of your life its fuel to keep going and my tank is always full.

Always keep moving forward. Don’t let yourself or others hold you back. Set up some goals to get the ball rolling on where you want to be in your life. Once you start putting that effort forward, once you start achieving those goals that uphill climb starts to get flatter and flatter, easier and easier. Fill your life with Ultra Positivism and it will make your trek to the top that much easier. Hang out with people that have the biggest influence in your life. Listen to those people who give you the most support and encouragement along the way. When you pay attention to the positives, the negative naturally weed themselves out. Get enough positive momentum going you will very seldom be tripping over many negative on the way up. Instead you will be leaping over them. Every time you do meet a negative just tell yourself, “challenge accepted”! Figure out what you need to do to move past it. Don’t ever dwell on it, don’t let those setbacks sit in your head, keep going forward, keep going up. Keep that Ultra Positive momentum. Most importantly just have fun along the way. Your path to the top may be the hardest and longest path you have ever been on but you need to have fun along the way. If you are not having fun on your journey you need to really think about where you are going and why you are going there. If you are not happy along the way you are not going to be happy at the top. So GET EXCITED! You will be surprised how far a positive attitude will get you in life. Those that disagree will never make it as far as you can. Turn that frown upside down. Everything you do in life starts with a smile and as long as you keep smiling Ultra Positivism will never end, and your destination will get closer every day!

Keep the UP Momentum going.

Famous Quote Friday

“A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.”
-Herm Albright-

Herm Albright born in Germany, studies philosophy and music. He came to the states to become a fine artist with his ink drawings, and did photography as a hobby.

I love this quotes because I always say that I am so positive that it actually annoys some people. People with a negative attitude are easily annoyed by people with a positive attitude. This may be because they feel like they are being put on the spot, accused of a weakness or self indulgent for giving in to their negativity.

On the other hand people with a positive attitude are rarely annoyed with those that have a negative attitude. I know for me when I see a negative attitude my sensors come up to say something positive in return. As a friend I have tried to help people have a more positive attitude, but I just get burned. It is something that people need to figure out for themselves first if they want to change their attitude. I will always remain positive and see the positive in everything. My responses to anyone no matter what their attitude is, it will be positive. I set my course to be the obnoxious example of ULTRA POSITIVISM in every part of my life. People that don’t like that will weed themselves out but I always appreciate those that stick around and appreciate me for who I am because I certainly appreciate others for who they are.

Thank you very much and have a great weekend.
