Eric Thomas FQF

“When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breath, then you will be successful.”
Eric Thomas

Eric Thomas, a former American football player, now a successful author and motivational speaker.

.

Along the road of achievement there are going to be times when it gets hard, and also you will get lazy. If you don’t let the toughness effect you and you stay motivated you certainly will be tallying success after success.

.

Have you ever held you breath underwater? Have you ever been in a situation were in an instant all you wanted to do was breathe? To live we need to breath.  Right now you can breathe normal but imagine if it was difficult to get breathes of air. You are going to do whatever you can, whatever it takes to get that air so you can stay alive. Apply that attitude to your life, to you goals. Imagine what you can accomplish with that kind of drive to get what you want. An easy start to help you achieve greatness is telling yourself; “I can do anything, I can achieve everything I want.” All of us will be successful in one way or another, but only if we want it bad enough. How are you going to be successful this weekend?

INSTINCTS

Over thinking is something a lot of us do. Some of the time a better way than over thinking is going with the flow of things in life. Recently I have been taking many risks in my life, taking those chances. The reason is I am just going with my instincts. Opening up many new paths  for myself, bringing light to the unknown be it good or bad. I have discovered so much about myself, others and the world around me in the past year alone. The one thing that remains constant is that things are always changing! New things, bringing back good old things, good things or bad things, challenging things, old friends or new friends. Everything is changing with ourselves as well.  You have to keep going in your life, keep taking chances keep fielding changes. Instincts are not an answer for all of life’s challenges, but the chances you take from the challenges are always a learning experience.

Going with your gut instincts may not seem right at the time but if you put effort towards what you seek you may find that your gut instinct is right! If you don’t go with your instincts you will end up just playing the “What If” game with yourself. There is no gratification with what if!  Going with your instincts can give your mind some rest, it can solve problems and also you can discover something new you love to do!

When was the last time you went with your instincts?  When one of the things you chanced turned out to be good, how much happier were you afterwards? How much better do you feel? When did a chance you took turn out bad? I guarantee you learned something from it! Other people have great ideas how to live our lives but each one of us is unique. Sometimes you have to trust your instincts and go out and challenge the world.

Ashton Kutcher FQF

“The sexiest thing in the world is being really smart……being thoughtful, and being generous. Everything else is crap”
-Chris Ashton Kutcher

Take everything you know about Ashton (his first name is actually Chris) on screen and take that out of context when you read this quote! Now I don’t follow celebrities and frankly I don’t really listen to things they say. My friend Amy showed me this video of a speech that Ashton gave at the Teen Choice Awards and it blew my mind. The quote above is what stuck out the most for me. Society has really done nothing to promote intelligence as attractive. If you think about it you are attracted to the things people do and say, so we are naturally attracted to intelligence. Guys, you can have your makeup covered gals with their designer revealing clothes, I search from within for my attraction. I am not at all saying getting dressed up how you want and putting make up on is a bad thing. I just prefer natural beauty and beauty from within. I mean I’ll never turn away from a girl with a beautiful smile, that is my weakness. Ok, before I get off track, intelligence is so important, I am not talking book smarts I am talking about life smarts. Good communication is something I coin as smart and attractive. Confidence is smart. Knowing what you are doing where you are going and the desire to continue to learn everyday from all parts of your life is what I believe Ashton is referring too. In an ever changing world, continued learning is very attractive.

Being thoughtful is really about putting yourself in other peoples shoes, respecting and understanding what is going on. Showing some compassion for what is happening in other peoples lives outside your own. Being generous has many definitions of course but I believe being generous is simply sharing what you have with others. It could be money, coffee, words of wisdom, new knowledge, or anything!

You can hold a life style to always want to learn more, to care about those around you and in your life, and selflessly give people all you can from your life and that is simply the most sexy anyone can be. Looks do not go farther than caching your eye, it is everything else that captures your heart!

It is important to always be yourself. Not everyone will agree with you but at least you can show some thoughtful understanding for their views. Have a great weekend everyone.

Here is the video I was talking about.

Tony Robbins FQF

“The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results.”
Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is a Life Coach and Motivational Speaker. Jim Rohn was Tony’s Mentor. Tony began his career promoting speech events for Jim, who is one of the greatest speakers of all time. Tony Robbins seems to be stepping up to be one of the most influence speakers of our time. Some words that Tony took away from Jim Rohn who has passed away recently: “Happiness and success in life are not the result of what we have, but rather of how we live. What we do with the things we have makes the biggest difference in the quality of life.” Talking about this quote is a whole other post! 😛

Both Tony and Jim are big influences to me. So before I get side tracked with all this awesomeness here we go with the man of the day, Tony Robbins.

When you eat better and exercise, you increase your energy levels. You physically feel better, therefore you are more productive with great things. This works the same way with a positive mind. The more you think positive the better you will feel. When you feel better or happier the easier it will be to combat the new negatives and challenges that come into your life. If you want any worthwhile results in your life you need to take care of both your body and your mind. YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOU! If you love your body and yourself, over time more great things will certainly happen. You can begin to find what you are really good at and keep getting better. If you already know what you are awesome at, it is an unwritten rule that there is always room for improvement. When you keep moving forward you may even amaze yourself.

Try to amaze yourself this weekend.

FRIENDSHIP SUPPORT

Remember me ranting about, “practice what you preach”? I have been going thru some trying times the past couple weeks and I am not out of the woods yet but I will tell you what! It pays to have good people in your life. Things are staking up on the negative side, and I am getting a little overwhelmed, but I have so many people willing to keep me on the right side of life.

You know what? Those negatives have the potential to take over no matter who you are. But, I am confident in the army of wonderful people in my life. A good number of people to smack me across the face and just tell me to snap out of it. Some of them can tell something up, bless those individuals for sure. Some of those I confide in I will spill the negative beans on the table and they just throw them to the dogs. I’ll be venting to one of them and they will be like didn’t you just write about this a few weeks ago? HA! Some of them just simply say “Marc you are being negative.” Sometimes that all I need to snap back in the positive! The humorous truth is that sometimes Negativity is so trancing that even if you tell yourself you are being negative it still does not work, but for some reason you hear the words in a another voice and it is like they are throwing light bulbs at my head. I am sure there is some scientific psychological explanation, that I would love brought to my attention. For now I’ll settle for knowing that IT WORKS!

Friends as you all know come and go all our lives. People can be in our lives for one minute and carry a memory for a life time in your heart. Others are there to support you every day you need it. I am so grateful that I have so many people that will listen when I am down and keep their hands out for the next time I fall.

My friend Erin a long time good friend has said longer then I can remember that she holds pieces of me. She spoke some very wise words about these pieces a couple weeks ago. Periodically I joke around with her and ask for my pieces back but she refuses to give them back. What a novel concept to show you care for someone. I give pieces of me out to just about everyone, it is their choice if they choose to use them in their life puzzle. I take other peoples pieces without them realizing right away, sometimes!

Basically cherish anyone that you come across in your life. I guarantee they have something good to offer and vise versa. Give them a chance and hope that they would do the same for you. The next person you see could be that piece missing from your puzzle, and it is every bit worth it to find out. Some people are meant to be, some people are meant to never leave,  some that were in your life for a long time may fade away, some you just meet and a new forever is born. Some you may miss leaving behind, some that don’t seem to fit, Some that just won’t let you have any pieces of their life.  In any scenario that works for you it is no doubt the support of friendship in all our lives is very important. They will come and go all the time. The ones that go make sure you learned something valuable before they walk away. MAKE FRIENDS WITH EVRYONE, they are more exciting then enemies

“Face it, we are all part of support groups, it is all our friendships.”

-Marc Meyer-

How much do you value your friendships?

Marilyn Monroe FQF

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
-Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was born an orphan and became one of the most iconic actress, model, singers of all time. That alone shows inspiration that anything is possible. It takes a strong person so shuffle through life and keep the attitude that everything happens for a reason. It is a scientific fact that people physically and mentally change all their lives. Learning to let go of that which was once wonderful is the real challenge. Our whole life should be a continuous learning experience. Things will go wrong but we need to focus on the good that came from those wrongs. Every time when something has fallen apart in my life something better seems to fall into place….weird how that work. There is no time limit on your life just keep going. When you get to that point of assumed perfection and it falls apart you got to once again step back and see what good came of it, trust that everything happens for a reason, take chances, and move on. Your life is an adventure not a chore. Just like thing go wrong with your car things will go wrong with your life. We need maintenance too. No matter what path your life started on find your yellow brick road and proceed. When you are falling, when you least expect it someone is going to be there to catch you or pick you back up.LET THEM!

.

Marilyn Quote over load! These all speak to me in one way or another, and carry their own meaning.

.

“I restore myself when I’m alone.”

Marilyn Monroe

“I’ve never dropped anyone I believed in.”

Marilyn Monroe

“I don’t want to make money, I just want to be wonderful.”

Marilyn Monroe

“A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left.”

Marilyn Monroe

.

It was a long quote explanation this week but thank you for reading. Have a great weekend everyone.

1 YEAR

Today I renewed my domain for my blog! In one year I have come so far with myself, I have done so much with this blog and I have 500+ followers to thank for that.  I have already changed peoples lives, I have already inspired many, but the really important thing is how all of my followers and people I know have helped me get there. You all have helped me with so much in my life.

I would just like to share one blog post that is important to me. This post is why I am sharing my thoughts this is what keeps me going….. helping others, little do they know that they are helping me too.

FQF Charles Darwin

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.”
Charles Darwin

This is quite an evolutionary quote! Ha, had to be cheesy there for a minute. Some of us stay fit to live a longer more healthy life, some of us will learn everything we possibly can to enrich our lives. But everything comes down to change. When life is streaming by means of our perfection, what if something were to knock that out of place? Can you adapt to starting your life over again? Do you have the mindset take on a new career? Can you walk away from a lost love of your life and find love again someday? If you lose a limb or one of your senses can you filter in how that is going to change your life? What if many of those things are happening all at once?

It is all in your mental and even physical strength for change. Always stay healthy, always keep learning for sure, but always be ready for change. Change and adapting is part of our lives, we have no choice, so we need to learn to embrace those differences. Love your life, Love what is handed to you. Cherish the things that come and go and maybe even come back and go again! Every day we wake up is a new day, don’t waste it, don’t wait. Look at that day how you will, but make the best of it because each minute that passes by, never comes back.

Have a great weekend everyone! Try something different this weekend, see if it changes your life!
