Journey Into My Thoughts (part 2)
Journey Into My Thoughts (part 1)
Ship life for me pulls in wild thoughts sometimes. As my life changes and evolves for the better, I realize that I am filtering out the crap and making more room for a better life. I have learned to relax through meditation. When I do meditation, the thoughtless moments I create for myself are just as valuable as the visions that follow. It is all about settling down and listening to what your heart is trying to tell you. The best part is most of my visions will come true if I do everything in my power to make it happen!
I saw 2 very important visions on one of my final nights on the cruise ship:
I am laying in bed, because that it all I can do and I decided to listen to some music. At this point I was getting a little better but I still felt really bad. I was listening to some sad music to push out a few negative feelings. It always works and I was pleasantly surprised with the thoughts that followed once the negatives had left. I was envisioning my success as a motivational speaker. It was not to kids with this one but I know from the bottom of my heart that kids is where my speaking journey begins and may even stay.
I was envisioning speaking in front of thousands. This was a vision I have had many times before. My parents were there. They were there because I promised both of them, before they pass to the next life, when I make it big in my speaking career, they will be there in the front row to see it. My parents are very healthy and I do have time but when I see them in my vision with everyone else it makes me incredibly happy. My parents supported everything idea I ever had, agreeing with it or not. They started out guiding me in the right directions then letting me go to fall and fail and live my life. The best part is every time I need them they are ready to help me. The funny part is I call both of them for everything and every time I struggle with whom to call first. It is something my heart can’t decide so I just switch off each time!
I think about this one speaking moment of my future often but what came through my thoughts next was amazing and brand new. I was envisioning, unprovoked, about going home for Christmas. Standard thought for sure, as I know my mom and dad would miss me otherwise. This was very different. I was not alone! I was holding hands with a little girl. I was telling my family to take any money they had intended to spend for me and make sure they all get her something instead! It was weird that I could see this very clear. There was no attention on any woman or mother to this vision, it was just me and this girl. Shortly after that, my thoughts jumped and I was envisioning asking teachers for play dates, and then it just got more random from that point on. I never have been able to picture this again as clear as I did but I hope in time the world will tell me what this means.
There are many good things in life we can go after: Our hearts, our visions, our goals, our gratitude and much more. Listen to the positivism within yourself and you can live the most rewarding life ever. There is so much more of this world to discover outside your living room and deeper within yourself, but it is up to you to go after it!
THE NEXT BIG THING
IT IS YOU!!!
Do you think you are important? Do you know why? We are all an important part of this world. It is only those with confidence that discover what makes them important. I always believed I was special. Not in a, I am the baby of the family, special but special in a way that some people in the world never see.
It took me till 33 to realize where I am meant to be. How many of you would have given up by then? I wanted to be a graphic designer sense junior high and I loved art more than anything, yet I struggled to find value in my 10 plus year career as a Graphic Designer. I had thought that trying my best and reaching the top of my career it would reveal my importance in the world. As design director it took major life changes to knock my off this ladder and realize I must try and find other ladders to climb.
After trying many things I found the ladder I needed to climb. I have been receiving signs for this all my life. I can make a baby smile and stare just by looking at them. I can be empathetic to a child as they learn life skills. I can relate to a teenager and help them succeed in the right direction. My new life was handed to me in the notion that everything happens for a reason. I was meant to talk to kids of all ages, and no more does a day go by where I don’t progress on making this happen.
It is not an easy road, it is not a short road, but no matter what; I guarantee that when I am ready, when the world is ready, I AM THE NEXT BIG THING.
My blog will be changing as my life has been shifting. I wrote quotes for a while, I made memes for a while, and I had a set posting schedule. I am and will be writing more inspiring post and stories for sure. I will be writing speeches that will be fine-tuned over time to be ready for a live audience. I do not have a time frame for you other than, it is happening right now, however I will still stick to my Wednesday posting.
I urge everyone to go discover what is meant to be part of their life. It is all right there in your head you just have to have the confidence, strength, and positive attitude to go after it.
Variety Friday (Attitude)
Digging through old pics I found this from about 5 years ago. I was a Graphic Designer at a very big sign shop, and the salesman would give me these Change Notice papers on their projects. Some of them were coming to me with a bad attitude so I wrote this change notice of my own and put it on the front of my monitor so when they came to see me they saw my sign. Needless to say it worked!
Nobody deserves your bad attitude that was caused somewhere else. Love life and all the people in it. Try making yourself happy instead of making everyone else miserable. Be ultra positive, be amazing, be GREAT!
Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to share my blog with your friends.
Determination
No matter what your past is, drop it. Yes hold on to the good memories for sure, I am talking about dropping your troubles, your failures and your negative attitude. Think about right now! Where is your life headed today?
Stand tall among the challenges. Eliminate surprise by expecting to fail, but from failure expect success. Learn all you can from your mistakes. Work to your wits end for success. Place no blame on others, you control your future. Ask questions until you are left with pure knowledge. Try again, push forward and break thru. Strike a fire of determination upon your goals.
Get what you want out of life by determination. Don’t sit back and wait for life to happen, begin to create yours now. It is not a matter of what you deserve it is a matter of what you have earned in your life. Don’t put all your pride in an open hand. Pry open the fist of challenge and take leaps never attempted, only then can you feel the adrenaline of pure determination.
NEVER GIVE UP. Never give up on your dreams. Do everything you can to make them come true. It is in your level of determination that you will get out of life what you deserve.
You choose your path, and attitude in life. If you sit on the couch watching reality shows all day it is safe to say your life is going nowhere. You accept the minimum with very little effort; your life is going nowhere. You blame others for the negatives you encounter; your life is going nowhere. Get up and try or learn something new every day. Reach for the maximum potential in your life; push your boundaries of success. Take responsibility for your actions and what you are reaching in life.
Stop talking about how you want your life to be and what you deserve and start taking action and be grateful for want you have earned in life. Go out there and get what you want out of life NOW!
I am challenged to find everyone to LIKE my new Facebook page and determined to get you to share it with your friends.
William James, Famous Quote Friday
“The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude.”
William James
Just awesome! Given this is the first famous quote of the New Year, William James’s words seemed very appropriate. My friend actually showed me this quote just yesterday, and I instantly through my other quote aside.
William James was an American Philosopher, Psychologist, and Physician. He was one of the leading thinkers of the 19th century, and one of the most influential philosophers of all time. Perhaps his discovery is one of the greatest of all time. It puts so much reality into perspective. If each one of us believed in ourselves and carried a better attitude, can you imagine how that would alter the entire world as a whole? With ourselves it is so simple, you want a good life have a good attitude. This is precisely what I have been working on, I am trying to carry a more positive life style and I am filling it with positivism. Things come to me easier and easier as I gain more and more confidence in my attitude. I am on a quest to love everything in life and with the right attitude I will.
What kind of attitude will you take into 2014 with you?
