Are You For Real?

I am a real person with real goals and real failures and real success and real feelings. I am not trying to hide anything, but I will change everything I do not like in my life!

You owe it to yourself to be real! Sure in high school maybe it was fun to try to be real cool, but you know darn well that’s not the real you. What are your passions? What are your feelings? What are your dreams? Are you living your life or some other life?

Stop spending time trying to be someone you’re not because you will NEVER get anywhere you want to in life. Being real is about being yourself. No matter what people say and no matter what people think, your own personal approval of yourself is what matters. You will hit hard times but its your own character that is going to conquer those challenges! You got to live your life from your eyes not from all the eyes looking at you.

I have always considered myself to be original. I truly am on a quest to love all life has to offer and that includes bits and pieces from all over the world, all things, and all ideas. I want to accept everything into my life and use my favorite parts to shape my future and all of you would be wise to do the same. It is one step toward a more positive world one person at a time!

Love your life and love each new year of it. HAPPY NEW YEARS!

GOOD FORTUNE

Good fortune is something to be truly grateful for as it comes from gratitude itself. Good things happen to each of us throughout our lives but wouldn’t it be great if they happened all the time. You can change that. When good things happen just show tremendous gratitude and don’t brag about your good fortunes. Let those great feelings take over your body and it will just open the doors in your life for more things to come right in. That’s its guys Gratitude = Good Fortune!

How this idea really clicked in is quite traditional and story book worthy. With the string of good fortune, of which I am truly grateful for, buzzing around in my head this past Monday the picture was painted for this post. The house smells of fresh-baked cookies as I watch outside seeing all the birds and squirrels eating and playing outside I turned the Christmas music on. Then the holiday spirit clicked in and I began to really see how so much good fortune has brought me to this point in my life! All I wanted for this Christmas was the Christmas spirit and I have already got so much more than that! This has happened to me the past few years over and over, again and again. It was not just the positivism that I instill in my life but it is the gratitude I have shown for everything that has happened. There is more to come I KNOW IT!

I never intended my Christmas Eve post to be of Christmas spirit but I guess It was meant to be. As you wish others a very merry Christmas do not forget to wish yourself a merry Christmas as well. We spend so much of our time and generosity on others this holiday season and we forget to take care of ourselves. There is nothing wrong with looking after ourselves. Take a little time aside to wish yourself a Merry Christmas and let good fortune fill up your life.

Merry Christmas to all. I wish you all an Ultra Positive Holiday!

Gratitude = Good Fortune! Simple math the more you are grateful for,the more good things that will happen to you.

THIS I WILL DO (Happy New Year)

All around the world people will be celebrating the New Year. Happy New Year to everyone. We all should have New Year resolutions. Everyone should have achievable resolutions. I write to you on the first day of the New Year about mine and may you find inspiration through these words.

My life has been shifting. The feelings of positivism grow stronger within me every day. I used to think my life was hard, I used to blame my past for my present. I was wrong. Today I realize, I will fail, I will fall, I will make mistakes, I will get lazy, I will lose important people, I will get lonely, I will be challenged, But I WILL NEVER GIVE UP! I will succeed, I will rise when I fall, I will learn from my mistakes, I will take needed rest, I will meet new people, I shall cherish those in my company and I will encourage the hardest challenges to get exactly where my life is meant to be.

I Have 3 main objectives in my life right now and a list to achieving each one; find a cruise ship job, fulfill milestones with my blog and efforts toward motivational speaking. There will be a day when all of these fall together with great purpose, but for now I must choose one. The world around me is coming together and showing me how close I am to getting a shipboard cruise ship job, and this I will do. This I will not give up on. My fingers are ready to turn the page on this new chapter of my life. I am setting aside many things in my life for this but through participation of this venture I shall receive so much more in return.

My New Year’s resolution is to get a shipboard cruise ship job as soon as possible. One of many goals! I look back upon this year only with smiles. I have met so many good people, I have done so many new things and I have accomplished so much with myself. I am a very goal oriented person and over Christmas I decided to share this notion with my family. I created chalk boards that simply say “This I Will do,” with simple instructions to chalk on them with short term goals. You can easily make these for yourself out of dry erase boards or just a piece of paper if you don’t want to do a chalk board. Put it in a place where you will look at it every day and when you achieve the goal write a new one. Just this simple thing will add so much success in your life. I have 4 boards of my own of different varieties, but I will show you the ones I created for my family.

Untitled-is I will do1

I rest and work in the shadows of my sanctuary. I can write words of failure, and thrive to wake again. My confidence lies waiting in the dark. The sun shall rise over me and grant me everything I never gave up of myself. I am original, I will remain original. I fear not, the blunders of my mistakes. I stand taller than the stars over all my challenges. I will lie upon the highest peaks and failure will be my foot holes to the top.

I leave you with a song from my favorite band that I have recently been inspired by.

Merry New Year

I have come so far this year in finding the new Marc I am today. Tomorrow I may be different, we are forever changing. Our hope should be that we are always changing for the better. Our goals should always be a step forward in our lives. I have learned so much I have tried so many new things and I have met so many good people. Here I would like to show you a timeline of quotes that span almost a year. These are not my best but they stuck out as important to me for sure.

January 10th 2012:

“My creative juices and my motivation are returning! WATCH OUT! I am on the move for new things!”

April 4th 2012:

“Some days you will wake up and realize the world around you is different. Mother Nature has changed, society has changed, your family has changed, your friends have changed, and YOU have changed. What once was, is now different. What once was may have never been what you really thought it was, and now it is different. Walk forward in your days, not backwards. Embrace what you have learned, embrace what makes you happy. Walk past those that have no positive impact on your life, and forgive those that are not worthy. Never forget what made you the way you are today. Never forget the memories that lighten up your life but always move forward. Stay positive and watch all the negativity disappear.”

May 10th:

“This is the hardest I have ever fought to stay positive in my entire life. 😦 ready….go!”

May 14th:

“We learn geology the morning after the earthquake.”(Ralph Waldo Emerson) “We learn true love the morning after a heartbreak.” (Me)

June 4th:

“Reinstating the Marc Meyer patented “ULTRA POSITIVISM” soon. Stand by for great things!”

Aug 29th: (first blog post, and I shared the blog to everyone a few months later)

Today I start a new life. A life were the good will remain, and the bad shall travel in a different lane. Working up the motivation and courage to start this has been a long thought process, so in light of getting a good nights rest I shall tell my story the next time I post.

The hiccup in this time line of posts was the hardest time in my entire life, but I used all of the negative energy for positive and it has changed my life more than I ever imagined. I can walk away from this lose holding onto an amazing memory of what has passed and a drive like no other to succeed forward in every part of my life.

I have come a long way in less than a year’s time and it is merely the tip of the iceberg of what is to come. I have accomplished so many goals. I have many new paths in my life, all AMAZING. I have great new friends, reacquainted with old ones, and the best of the best still stand tall in my life. January 2nd I don’t just start a new job, I start a brand new career. Everything I do, everything that happens, puts me one step closer to becoming, the most inflectional positive motivational speaker of our time. Sounds like a bit of a tough goal right? I am going to reach for it and I know now, because of who I am and who I have become, that the journey there is going to encompass every part of my life. The best parts of our lives are not the goals we achieve it is the journey getting there. I have tons of goals lined up, and tons of new journey already being explored.

We have landmarked New Years with new resolutions. The only resolution I have always kept to myself is to simply make a difference, try my best in all things! Be it in myself or others try my best to make a difference. Having tons of positive in your life is indeed overwhelming at times but if you organize all your thoughts, write things down, and be grateful, you will see everything materialize in your life a lot faster. I greatly look forward to where I will be in my life in a years time.

A merry, lovely, fantastic, amazing Christmas to all! and a happy New Years.

For all who read or follow this blog my greatest of appreciation goes out to you. If you could write down some of your resolutions for the next year this would be very inspirational for me. Thank you so much.

Love and well wishes to all.
