Blow Your Own Mind

I visited my hometown area for Christmas and New Years in the Northwest parts of the Chicago area. Being a resident of Florida now and it being winter time I was anxious to see the snow again. Sense I booked my flight I hoped for snow for some time, and waited in controlled excitement for that day, just like I waited for my day at sea on my cruise vacation a few years ago. That day never came and as I flew back home that snow began to fall.

I felt weird on the way home and I told my mom and dad it was weird that I was flying home to what most people call a vacation spot, and where I came to visit was where I used to live. I landed in Florida only to hear my Father say the snow plow just went by and my Mother sends me pictures of the 4 inches of snow she got and it is still coming down. I missed what I really wanted to see by hours not even a whole day!

Should I be disappointed? NO! When you do something enough it becomes habit. On a journey to love everything in life you must take initiative to find the positives in the not so glamorous situations. Finding positives has become second nature to me. Yes I am from Illinois, snow is glamorous to me! Right off the bat anyone can conclude that I left just in time, without having any weather delays and I got home safely. I was sitting in my room in shorts and a t-shirt; thinking about the snow I was missing, I was sweating and it felt so hot here! I was antsy to look into my new Spanish-speaking program and my new Chakra set but my mind lays distracted by the snow I missed.

I took the time to figuring out what was going on in my head and I realized I wrote my answer to this issue of missing the snow, last Friday!

Variety Friday (purpose) “Finding your way means stepping away from something good for something better.”

I actually got a little teary eyed writing this because my life now has been full of inspiration and I have so much to be grateful for as a result. On more than one occasion I have succeeded in blowing my own mind. This was one of those times. These self discoveries are what taking your own path in life is all about. I shed no disappointment for not seeing more than a light dusting of snow when I left, but I do take pride in standing here in Florida, a resident for only about 6 months, and looking back up north with praise for what this world has given to me up to this point. There is more coming, there is always more coming if that is what you believe in. The snow is good but for my life the ocean is better.

From The Inside Out!

Do you love yourself?

Loving yourself is where everything good starts in your life. No lasting good can grow in your life without first honoring what it means to be you. No success has flourished in the hands of those who simply copy others. We are all original. We all have something to offer this world. We all have love to offer to ourselves. Believe in yourself, love yourself and you shall see a brighter path on the journey that is your life.

Be confident with yourself and your goals. Your journey will be full of failure but if you get up each time you will see your success soon enough. Doubt yourself and your path shall be filled with regret.

You cannot fully love another person without loving who you are first. If you don’t believe you are amazing, that is the image you portray to others. If you are confident and love who you are the right person or people are out there to show you that same love in return.

Who are you? Let the world know. Be it to the masses or one person at a time tell the world you are great and knock down those that stand opposed to your own positive self-image. We all have the greatness in us and it is up to ourselves to retrieve it from our own hearts before we can share it with others. Love yourself on the inside first and then learn to love everything else on the outside of your life.

You need to live your life from the inside out! Only then can all your dreams come true. I ask again…..Do you love yourself?

UPWITHMARC’S FUTURE

Just now, I completed 7 seasons, 178 episodes of Star Trek Next Generation. I must take a break before I continue forward with the Star Trek series. What to do, what to do? I intend to begin learning everything I can to bring https://upwithmarc.com/ into the world of podcasting with the new equipment and software I have purchased. As an added bonus German speaking software is on its way to me now!

Can I bring UP With Marc, podcasting, and a new world of different languages together to share all of the worlds positivism in one place? Can I bring all I have learned and will learn in front of the podium of the world as a motivational speaker? Sounds big, sounds like some great goals to work for! Sounds like YOU need to stick around not only to see how far I can go but I will need all of your help and support to get me there.

Right now the path to discovery is slow and hard. I will continue to be grateful for everyone’s support as we all take the journey to a more positive place UP With Marc.

So Grateful, I love all of you, and thank you!

Lindsey Stirling FQF

“The only reason I am successful is because I have stayed true to myself.”

Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey is a Dub-step Violinist. She grow up with a heavy classical background. With age she began to experiment with mixing different kinds of music, ultimately coining a new genera of music for many to continue to follow. She was a quarter finalist on America’s Got Talent. She did not win it all but she kept going. She stayed true to her self and is now living in a world she only once dreamed of, performing spectacular music.

Staying true to yourself can be hard, it does take some determination. There are so many things that tempt us in other directions other than our own. How many success stories have you heard that were derived of fake actions or fake directions? None! Some may come close but eventually fall. To succeed you must expect hard times, you must be prepared for failure and rejection. Be yourself in every aspect and you will go far. As you go to things you want they will start to come to you at the same time.

I have lost so many people but gained many more by staying true to myself. Being me seems to be so hard sometimes but I stay true to myself and my goals in life. I am weird or annoying or unintellectual in the eyes of many but in the eyes of many more I have built a level of trust that can never be broken. I have built a level of determination for what I want out of life, that does not go unseen. I have always had my heart open for all those who wish to treat it with respect. It was not till a little after high school that I realized who I really was….I was meant to spread positivism and acts of kindness, and spread I will. I wish, in my last breaths, that I still have some inspiration left in me to pass on to those that lean over in care. That is my success, making as many people in this world as possible smile and keep smiling.

I am Kind, I am caring, I am sensitive, I am weird, I am funny, I am forgiving, I am strong, I am me!

Have an amazing weekend everyone. Lindsey’s Music is amazing, I feel she is shaping a new era of listening pleasure. Check out the song I am addicted to right now.

Selena Gomez FQF

“Being yourself is all it takes. If you want to impress someone, don’t be someone else just be yourself.”
Selena Gomez

Everyone knows Selena Gomez. Started out on “Barney and Friends” and now she is a famous actress, singer and fashion designer. She is 21 now and I wish I could date when she was quoted. Her words are so undemanding but very profound at the same time. Receiving what you want, getting where you want to be and being with who you want can all certainly fall under simply being yourself. What better person to be though? Originality is so important. For me I don’t want to be defined as part of a stereotyped group of people, I want to be defined as Marc Meyer! In this case I would much like http://www.upwithmarc.com to be seeping through every way possible of who I am! Positivism is taking over my life and I just want to share it with others. Some can’t handle the ultra positivism but those that can continue to motivate me again and again.

.

Who out there are we trying to impress and for what reason? If you are impressing people by doing something that is not in your nature you realize you have to keep doing that? Are you willing to keep doing something that you don’t feel 100% about just for the sake of your image? You want people to enjoy who you are when you are not even trying. Build up your friends, followers and audience with your own thoughts,  actions and interests. This concept of being yourself is so simple and so easy, I am not sure why people choose to follow the paths of others.

.

Be yourself today and every day. Make a lasting impression on the world with your life! Stand out by being original not someone we already know. LOVE YOUR LIFE, treat it as such!

.

This is my 99th post, I am so excited for the post I have lined up for Wednesday, my 100th post! be sure to check it out.
